Review
As a big fan of the first Shadow Falls Series, I was excited to learn that everyone's favorite vampire was getting her own series! While Kylie is sweet and kind, Della is sassy and fiesty! This vampire will do whatever it takes to reach her goals and I love that about her. Reading Della's story is incredibly enjoyable not only because of her sassy nature but also because of her interesting love interests. Steve is a shapeshifter we know from the first series and how his relationship with Della is...... complicated. I love Steve and I was rooting for him until Chase showed up. Chase is a new character that is totally mysterious and annoying but yet Della can't stay away. The fact that Della now has two hot guys to chose from adds some serious drama and makes the story so much more interesting.
If romance wasn't enough, the paranormal aspect of this novel is amazing. C.C. Hunter adds some interesting twists when it comes to vampires and it now seems that Della is developing some unusual powers. I can't say what and why but let's just say her new powers aren't exactly a good thing as they might just get her into trouble. Well, more trouble I should say.
Overall, I enjoyed this story so much! It has action, romance, paranormal aspects, and a great plot line. This was a great introdution to Della's story and I can't wait to read more.
