Review

Eternal pretty much picks up from where Reborn left off. Della Tsang has completed the rare second vampire transition and has become a Reborn, a vampire who is stronger and faster than most, thanks to the mysterious Chase Tallman who Della finds herself drawn to. The catch? Chase is hiding something from her AND she also happens to still have a connection to the sexy shapeshifter Steve.Talk about the drama.

Besides dealing with boy drama, she gets the pleasure of dealing with ghosts while trying to prove that she can make a great agent to the FRU. Then there's the vampire council who decides to jump in as well as MORE FAMILY DRAMA. (C.C. HUNTER- LEAVE DELLA ALONE!). The ending of this novel ends in a bloody cliffhanger that made me throw my novel across the room (and then go pick up and make sure it's okay because it's my baby).

Della is as strong as ever but she gets significantly whiney while she deals with the love triangle (which is a constant factor in any Shadow Falls novel. I mean Kylie had Derek and Lucus. Della has Steve and Chase. Miranda has Shawn and Perry. See the pattern?). I really just want this triangle to reach a conclusion so Della can go back to being a real butt kicker.

Other than that, I loved Eternal and I can't wait to read Unspoken.
